Everything was OK. The car was old and very used, but everything important (engine, brakes, tires, clutch, etc.) worked perfectly. I can mention a few minor problems, like the shock absorbers being worn out or the glass of the right-side mirror coming loose. But we managed it, and otherwise the car was reliable during our trip. I would have appreciated slightly quicker responses from the owner, but he always got back to me in the end.
