The car got us around but we were concerned for our safety. There was a squealing that could be heard with the windows open and eventually could be smelled. My friend is familiar with cars and was pretty sure it was a wheel bearing. Owner said he never heard it & asked if we were driving with parking break on. When I told him it was a safety issue he eventually offered to come check it out. Until he found out we were an hour away. He then told us to let him know when we were back. Which we did. His response…”OK.” Nothing more. Luckily we made it through the next day. BEFORE YOU RENT THIS CAR, MAKE SURE IT HAS BEEN INSPECTED BY A QUALIFIED MECHANIC.
Then, we were charged a cleaning fee for medium dirtiness for some sand on a mat. We were also charged for a smudge on the outside that was there when we got the car and was visible in his before photo. MAKE SURE YOU TAKE MULTIPLE PHOTOS OF ALL SURFACES SO YOU ARENT CHARGED A CLEANING FEE. AND CLEAN ALL DIRT EVEN IF IT WAS THERE.
